Unfortunately, both when using the wrinkle iron at home and in the beauty salon – we need to know any contraindications to the treatment. These include:
- pacemaker or insulin pump,
- epilepsy,
- unstable hyperthyroidism or hypothyroidism,
- problems with blood pressure – hypertension or extremely low blood pressure,
- cancers,
- pregnancy and breastfeeding,
- metal implants in the face and braces,
- skin wounds, inflammation,
- surgery procedures performed in the last six months.
Experts say that apart from people who have the above contraindications, such a procedure is completely safe. What’s more, it not only smoothes and firms the face, but also makes any preparations applied to the skin at a later time work much more effectively, because the skin is more susceptible to treatments.
The wrinkle iron is not the only new and popular method for a smooth complexion
Recently, beauty salons offer more and more treatments. They are used not only by celebrities, but also by completely unpopular people, due to the fact that prices are becoming more affordable every year. Currently, the most popular cosmetic treatments for wrinkles include:
