The Lima Stock Exchange (BVL) closed the day on Thursday, March 10 with gains in its main indices, with 12 indicators in green and 4 in red. So the index S&P/BVL Peru General, the most representative of the Lima stock market, rose 0.15% to 24,790.57 points.
Similarly, the index S&P/BVL Peru Selectivewhich is made up of the most traded shares in the local market, also increased by 0.15% and was placed at 649.3 units.
The gains of the day were led by the mining sector that grew 0.90%, followed by industrial with 0.33%, construction with 0.29%, and services and electricity, both with 0.14%. On the other hand, the items that closed the day with losses were consumer and financial, both with a drop of -1.41%.
The shares that rose the most within the local index were: Banco de Credito del Peru (6.67%), Casa Grande (6.48%), Austral Group (6.03%) and Panoro Minerals (5.63%). While those that fell the most were Fossal (-15.79%), Volcan Compañía Minera (-8.00%) and Inretail Perú (-2.52%).
