Musical pieces from well-known horror and fantasy films from the big screen will be performed by the Guayaquil Symphony Orchestra at a Halloween concert that he will offer this Friday at the Civic Center Theater.
The thematic presentation will be composed of themes as classic as Thriller, from Michael Jackson; One night in the bare mountain, from Modest Mussorgsky; The music of the canteen, from Star Wars; The Sorcerer’s Apprentice, by Paul Dukas. Also other songs that are part of the soundtrack of the movies Phicosis, Harry Potter and Pirates of the Caribbean.
“Soundtracks are an essential part of building a memorable scary movie … Just listening to the sound is enough to transport us to the scene”mentions the orchestral group in a press release.
Dante Santiago Anzolini, Orchestra director, mentions that the public can attend the concert in their best costume, which may be related to one of the themes that will be played at the concert. The best outfit will be awarded. “We are looking for a way for people to use their talent and imagination to come disguised in the best way. In fact, several members of the orchestra are already looking for their costumes at this time.”, Indicates the teacher.
