Robert Makłowicz is undoubtedly one of the most colorful figures in Polish show business. Robert and Agnieszka Makłowicz – how did they meet?
Robert and Agnieszka Makłowicz have been married for over 30 years. The couple had two adult sons: 29-year-old Mikołaj and 25-year-old Ferdinand, who, as it turned out recently, followed in their father’s footsteps, creating a catering company with him.
The couple got to know each other thanks to the program, because Agnieszka was the first production manager of the already cult program of a journalist. – When I met her, it was a moment, a blink of an eye, when I fell in love with her … – he recalled in an interview with Fakt. They got married in Armenia in 1991.
“Armenia is close to my heart, that’s where my ancestors come from. The ceremony differs from that in Poland: the priest is facing the audience with his back and facing the altar. The wedding itself is granted not by the imposition of wedding rings, but crowns. It is similar to the church. The ceremony lasted over five hours so it was something unforgettable. Agnieszka Makłowicz is a graduate of theater studies at the Jagiellonian University, as well as film and television production at the Film School in Łódź. She was associated with all television productions of Robert Makłowicz, on which she worked as a production manager or executive producer.
“My wife does not tell me what to cook, I do not interfere in technical and organizational matters. And thanks to this, we are together. If you spend half the time in hotels, it is better to wake up with someone you love” – he revealed in one of the interviews Robert Makłowicz.
