YouTuber José Alejandro Tienda Ramírez, better known as Álex Tienda, has faced several difficulties in Ukraine, since on February 24, the president of Russia, Vladimir Putin, decided to invade that European country.
Since then, the Mexican documents everything that happens in his path, since the attack began, while he was in Kramatorsk, looking for a place to take refuge and ways to get out of the areas where there is more war activity.

For now it is unknown if Tienda is still in Kramatorsk. The last thing that was known is that he is in a town, but with an alert of being attacked, according to what he published on his Twitter account. However, he did not reveal his exact location for “security” reasons.
Álex Tienda reported that it was stolen
Álex Tienda’s original plan was to go to Kramatorsk to film material for his documentary, but at that moment the attacks began, so returning to Kiev was no longer an option for the Mexican. He now lives the rigors of the loss of his belongings, which includes everything related to technological equipment.
He denounced on his social networks that his luggage was stolen, without knowing if they are Russians or Ukrainians who have it in their possession, the truth is that they used their influence to request financial aid and try to defraud some people in his name.
When I traveled from Kiev to Kramatorsk I only took the essentials (backpack/cameras) as the plan was to return to Kiev the next day
In the hotel I left my luggage, laptop/hard drive and with the beginning of the war, returning to Kiev is no longer an option.
Today I found out that they already entered my laptop ???? pic.twitter.com/WSkTdJWUSn— Alex Store (@AlexStore) February 26, 2022
“I need to get out of here”
At the moment it is known that Alex Tienda is trying to leave the country, but later on several occasions, the Mexican made it clear that he is not asking for help from any person or institution to leave.
I entered Ukraine with the mission of documenting… and I will leave the same way
⚠️ EYE ⚠️ circulates in the media that “I’m asking for help to get out”.
I want to make it clear that I have NOT requested the help of my government or anyone else to get out.

The youtuber reported that his Instagram account was deleted after losing his teams. In addition, he warned that people took on the task of creating false profiles, posing as him, taking advantage of the fact that his official profile is inactive.
⚠️ATTENTION!⚠️
Don’t be fooled and report it!

Safe and sound: “I’m fine. We’ll get out of here.”
Álex claimed to have documented “a lot about what Ukrainians have been experiencing these days”, so he decided not to publish anything more about the Russian invasion, for security until he leaves Ukraine.
The 36-year-old Mexican said that he is well and took the opportunity to thank those who support him and all the people who write to him on a daily basis.
I have documented a lot about what Ukrainians have been experiencing these days.
For security, I will no longer post anything about my trip until I leave.
To those who have supported me, THANK YOU ???????? And to the rest, keep an eye on what I post ????????
I’m good. We’ll get out of here ????????

On the other hand, he assures that in war “information is power” and this also motivates Tienda not to publish more about his survival in the town he is in.
“We really don’t know if they are Russian or not, but my computer is in Kiev and my accounts and information were stolen. Some consider Russia’s interest in my account absurd, but in war, information is everything, ”he said when responding to those who criticize him for handling information by saying that he is not a journalist.
I know that for many I am not a journalist or relevant, but the reality is that what I have documented to date about what is happening in Ukraine has reached millions of people.
It is also no secret that modern warfare is not only with weapons, it is also computerized.
