Up to five liters of water, you can add 1-2 tablespoons of alcohol, spray the glass with this solution and polish it. Our windows will be shiny and streak-free.
Our grandmothers washed the windows with vinegar: does this work?
For many people, the best home remedy to get rid of smudges is. This method makes the panes not only clean and shiny, but also devoid of visible traces of polishing. To prepare such a solution, it is enough to add spirit or apple cider vinegar to the water in a ratio of, for example, 1: 5. You can add your favorite essential oil to this mixture for a pleasant fragrance.
How to polish our windows so that they shine and do not have streaks?
It is often not enough if we want our windows to be perfectly shiny, it is also worth polishing them. It is important that you do this first from top to bottom and then from side to side. This sequence guarantees not only shining, but also the absence of streaks. For polishing windows, it is best to use materials known for years, available in almost every home:
- tights – preferably torn tights, which are no longer good for anything else
- tetras diaper or children’s cotton T-shirt. They are soft, made of high-quality materials, perfectly absorb moisture and leave no streaks
