Mad Blue is the festival committed to the planet that is going to revolutionize sustainable leisure in Madrid. With the aim of promoting collective responsibility towards the environment and raising awareness of the need to take care of our planet, MadBlue prepares in the Enrique Tierno Galván Park, lOn April 30 and May 1a cycle of experiences to bring sustainable development closer to all citizens and enjoy music, sports and gastronomy as a family in a healthy and environmentally friendly environment.
MadBlue will invite its attendees to learn about the reasons why it is so necessary to make the world a more liveable and sustainable placeand that it is possible to launch large events that combine technology, innovation, fun and culture, while being respectful of the environment and without having to harm the health of the planet.
One of the main dishes that can be enjoyed at MadBlue 2022 will be the Concert from Madrid to the Oceans. On Sunday, May 1, from 6:00 p.m.attendees will vibrate for three hours with live music on a stage that will bring together the best groups and artists on the national music scene.
Artists and groups of the stature of Andres SuarezAnni B Sweet, Depedro, Elephants, Kiko Veneno, Kora, IZAL, Lori MeyersThe Enemies, Maren, Miguel Ríos, Miss Caffeina and Varry Brava.
Each one will interpret some of their most legendary songs to contribute their grain of sand and demonstrate their firm commitment to the objective of MadBlue: that a great concert can be carried out sustainably. During the performances, various experts in sustainable development will also take the stage to inform and talk with the public about the importance of listening to the call of the planet. The Madrid to the Oceans Concert will donate all its profits to the Tuna Skin Foundation, a technological innovation project in favor of the climate transition and decarbonisation. The Run for the Earth race
Sport will also be the central axis of the actions that this edition of MadBlue will launch.
During Sunday morning, May 1and with the support of Nationale Nederlanden, the popular race will be held ‘Run for the Earth’ in the surroundings of the Enrique Tierno Galván Park, where participants can choose between two routes, 5 or 10 kilometers. Runners may register up to one day in advance to get your bib number for €10 and also contribute to the Fundación Piel de Atún. Along with the number, the participants will receive a commemorative windbreaker of the test.
Emerging talent and green market
The saturday april 30 and within the framework of the activities that will take place in Parque Tierno Galván, MadBlue will have a music space curated by Captcha Family with streaming broadcast, in which it will bet on local heroes, emerging talent and artists with value propositions that stand out from the “mainstream”.
In order to promote more sustainable and healthy consumption models, you can also visit an ecological market with local products, a healthy gastronomic offer aligned with the principles of the Mediterranean diet, and producers aware of the need for a change in our individual and collective behavior with respect to consumption habits. The organic market can be visited on April 30 and May 1.
