Without a cup of this infusion, many of us cannot imagine the morning, especially since strong coffee can quickly bring you to your feet. However, not everyone knows that it is a natural and ecological cosmetic. Its properties are perfect for, for example, scalp care.
What are the benefits of homemade coffee scrub? One product for many problems
Regular use of prepared scrubs can bring better results than the use of expensive cosmetics. Thanks to it, we can exfoliate dead skin cells and regenerate hair at the same time. Such a peeling helps to regulate the work of the sebaceous glands, which can prevent the hair from becoming greasy and dizzy. Additionally, caffeine stimulates hair growth and prevents hair loss.
Homemade scalp scrub with coffee grounds. How to prepare it?
To prepare the basic version of the peeling, we need: 2 tablespoons of coffee grounds, 2 tablespoons of shampoo. However, we can enrich it with 2 tablespoons of hot water and 1 tablespoon of heated coconut oil. Pour water over the grounds, mix thoroughly, and then add the rest of the ingredients. Depending on the desired consistency, we can add more oil or coffee grounds to the mixture. When the peeling is at room temperature, you can massage it into the scalp, leave it for a few minutes, and then rinse with lukewarm water. It is worth applying a conditioner on your hair to make the effect even better. We use coffee peeling no more than once a week.
Coffee rinse for hair – an alternative to using coffee grounds
that’s not the only way we can use coffee grounds. We can also create a mouthwash from them. Pour two tablespoons of coffee with two glasses of hot water. After brewing, drain the grounds and cool the rinse. We put it on washed hair after the last rinse. Thanks to it, your hair will become shiny and also slightly darkened.
