With the proposal ‘Father’s Day’ of Ariel garofalo, Daily THE UNIVERSE Alejandro Miró Quesada Garland won the IAPA Award for Journalistic Excellence, edition 2021, in the category Mobile news coverage.

According to the verdict, it is given “by the original editorial proposal that consists of a digital version for mobile phones with elements of the printed version, in this case dedicated to Father’s Day.”

In a video published last Thursday, October 21, the Inter-American Press Association (IAPA) detailed the name of the winners of the 14 categories.

“With these awards, the IAPA celebrates the work and commitment of journalists from national and local media and collaboration platforms from Argentina, Colombia, Cuba, Ecuador, the United States, Mexico, Peru, and Venezuela in 14 categories. The valuable works include coverage of excellence in key issues of our society, such as the COVID-19 pandemic and the defense of human rights ”, it is indicated in the audiovisual.
