The series, broadcast since 2017, has been very popular from the very beginning and has already had four seasons. The main protagonists – coming from different backgrounds: Ewa, Marysia and Irka, whose youth falls in the difficult times of World War II, have to face the German occupier. By joining the underground resistance movement, they take part in small sabotage actions, save Jewish children and liquidate collaborators and occupiers. What will be the fate of these brave young women after the loss of one of them? We will find out in the next, fifth season of “War Girls”.
