The woman, outraged by her partner’s behavior, decided to share her story on the popular Reddit forum. The would-be groom did not want to make an exception for his partner’s children, which ended in her canceling the wedding.

“He wouldn’t be comfortable with them”

As she says, just before the wedding, she was surprised to discover that there was no room on the guest list for three of her children: 18-year-old Madison, 15-year-old Ethan and 10-year-old Isabella. Convinced that there had been a mistake, she asked her fiancé about it, who, however, as it turned out, deliberately crossed them off the list. – He argued that it was a wedding only for adults – relates the woman, who admits that she did agree with her fiancé to invite only adults to the ceremony. However, she assumed that this rule did not apply to her children and that their presence was obvious to her.

Her partner argued, however, that the wedding was not a place for children and that he would feel uncomfortable in their presence. – We got into a serious quarrel, during which he stated that our marriage was not about my children, but about our love – relates the woman, who in response openly admitted to her partner that children are more important to her than he will ever be. Ultimately, the woman disappointed with her fiancé’s attitude decided to cancel the wedding.

– Take your children on a honeymoon and don’t look back – Internet users replied, fully supporting the woman’s decision.
