The Chilean startup, Justo, arrives in Ecuador to facilitate online sales of restaurants and businesses

With an investment of approximately one million dollars, the startup Chilean company Justo, founded in 2018, opens its operations in Ecuador, with the aim of reaching one million orders, as part of its plans in the region.

Ecuador joins five other countries where the brand is present. Markets such as Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Peru and Costa Rica have reached more than 10,000 associated restaurants.

It’s just a partner technology of restaurants and shops. Since 2018, it has been working precisely so that more businesses and entrepreneurs can choose their own store on-line.

Jeff Bezos’ most important rule for building a business

Rodrigo Segal, CEO of Justo Latam, indicated that Justo’s objective is to democratize technology through the creation of 360° digital strategies, which begin with the creation of a platform e-commerce self-managed and easy to use, aligned to the vision and needs of each restaurant.

It also offers the service of delivery of last mile, thus connecting restaurants with a fleet of reliable motorized vehicles that today has more than 75,000 drivers to ensure delivery of orders.

And finally, a group of professionals in marketing digital create innovative campaigns, allowing restaurants to accelerate sales.

He added that they want the main sales channel for restaurants and shops to be their own. He clarified that unlike the delivery apps, Just redirects the customer to the restaurant. Once they deliver the technology, they are constantly monitoring their entire operation, but the restaurant will always have control, set prices and upload promotions or banners. In other words, it is their platform, but with the support of Justo.

The firm reported that there are currently more than 250 restaurants in Ecuador partners de Justo, having technological independence. One of them is Grupo Stav, which has allowed them to control the information provided by their own e-commerce and they have managed to boost their economic activity, connecting directly with their customers.

Pandemic accelerated the number of users of applications such as Glovo, Rappi and Uber

“We feel very honored to start our operations in Ecuador, as we believe that it is a country with great opportunities for economic growth. With our technology and support, the restaurant sector will have the opportunity to feel a true post-pandemic recovery”, said the regional director.
