The Spanish director shot his latest film during the pandemic. The director once again collaborated on the set with Penélope Cruz, who could be seen, for example, in his 2019 “Pain and Glow”. The cast of “Parallel Mothers” also included: Aitana Sánchez Gijón, who won the Silver Shell for Best Actress at the San Sebastian Festival for “Volavérunt”, and Milena Smit.
Chaning Tatum will appear in the comedy “Dog”. It is the story of two former soldiers of the elite Rangers, who against their will set off on a journey of a lifetime. One of them is the title dog – Lulu, who gives her travel companion a hard time.
And if not “Dog” then maybe “Wolf”? Here the main role was played by George McKey, known for his role in the movie “1917”. Nathalie Biancheri is responsible for the script and direction of the Irish-Polish co-production. What is this drama about? Jacob believes he is a wolf. It turns out he’s not the only one who believes he is an animal, not a human. He goes to a center where children and adolescents are treated primarily for a disorder called species dysphoria. However, the therapy does not work for Jacob, he becomes even more convinced that he is a wolf. At the clinic, he meets a girl who believes she is a female cat (Lily-Rose Depp).
