In the life of Waldek (Maciej Karaś), filled mainly with computer games, there is a real earthquake. During the absence of his mother (Karolina Gruszka), he stays in the care of a crazy and unpredictable aunt (Dorota Kolak), who introduces a discipline that has so far been alien to him and imposes new duties. But although an extraordinary relative gives Waldek a real survival camp, the boy also receives the most valuable life lesson from her.

“Too Big for Fairy Tales” is not only children’s heroes – the cast also includes, among others, Patryk Siemek and Amelia Fijałkowska. They are supported by well-known adult actors Karolina Gruszka, Dorota Kolak and Andrzej Grabowski in the roles of mother, aunt and grandfather.
There will be a movie, first a book
The film “Too Big for Fairy Tales” directed by Kristoffer Rus will hit theaters on March 18. The script of the film was based on the book of the same title and written by its author, Agnieszka Dąbrowska. This one (with illustrations by Marta Krzywicka) will be available in bookstores from March 9 (Agora Publishing House for Children).
– In good stories we can see ourselves as in a mirror. And then take a look at your life again. Like Waldek, each of us sometimes needs someone kind who will give us confidence and courage at the right moment, says actress Karolina Gruszka, Waldek’s film mother.
