During the Super Bowl event, a second official trailer for the new Marvel Studios tape was released: ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness’. The film starring the Oscar-nominated actor, Benedict Cumberbatch and actress Elizabeth Olsenwill follow the story of the sorcerer Stephen Strange after the events of Avengers Endgame and Spider-man: No Way Home. The new trailer revealed more than expected and brings some curiosities.
“You can’t control everything, Strange. The advance shows Doctor Strange trying to solve the multiversal problems that have been unleashed after the previous tapes, for this he turns to Wanda Maximoff, whom he poses as the villain of the film.
One of the key moments in the trailer is a voice that seems to confirm that Patrick Stewart will appear in the film as Charles Xavier. “We should tell him the truth”says the voice. Rumors not only suggest that the actor will return as Professor X, but also that it would be possible to see other mutants making cameos in the film.
The film will touch many elements of the multiverse, so the appearance of different variants of the characters is expected. In addition, as previously revealed, the film will feature the participation of América Chávez, a character whose powers allow him to jump between realities.
At one point in the trailer for ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness’, Wanda can be seen fighting against a possible variant of Captain Marvel, although her face cannot be clearly seen, this character could be Maria Rambeau, best friend of Carol Danvers.
