The quinquis story by Daniel Monzón, ‘Las Leyes de la Frontera’, prevails in the list of winners halfway through the gala of the 36th edition of the Goya with a total of four awards: best artistic direction, costumes and makeup and hairdressing and the award for best new actor for Chechu Salgado.
‘
Las Leyes de la Frontera’ is the story of the summer in which Nacho experienced his first love and he grew older, constantly transgressing the border between two worlds, crossing the line between good and evil, between justice and injustice. Marcos Ruiz (Cousins, The Man with a Thousand Faces) plays Nacho; Begoña Vargas (Malasaña 32) gets into Tere’s skin; and Chechu Salgado (Fariña) is Zarco.
The rest of the band is played by Carlos Oviedo as Guille, Xavier Martín as Gordo, Daniel Ibáñez as Piernas, Jorge Aparicio as Chino, Víctor Manuel Pajares as Dracula and Cintia García as Lina, giving life to the Zarco gang.
The cast is completed by actors such as Xavi Sáez (Pain and Glory, You will not kill), Carlos Serrano (Homeland, The secret of the old bridge), Estefanía de los Santos (Group 7, Time after), Pep Tosar (While you sleep, The shadow of the law), Santiago Molero (The man with a thousand faces, Red Eagle), Ainhoa Santamaría (While the war lasts, Elite), Elisabet Casanovas (Merlí) and Pep Cruz (The day after tomorrow), among others. Behind the project are the producers Ikiru Films, La Terraza Films and Atresmedia Cine in collaboration with Buendía Estudios and Las Leyes de la Frontera AIE.
