Although kim kardashian has expressed that he wishes to keep private the conflictive relationship he has with his ex-husband, musician Kanye West, she has publicly rejected a comment he made on Instagram about his daughter North making videos on TikTok.
This Friday, the rap mogul posted a screenshot of his 8-year-old daughter’s TikTok profile. There he wrote: “Since this is my first divorce, I need to know what I should do about my daughter being on TikTok against my will”.
Kardashian responded on her Instagram stories: Kanye’s constant attacks on me in interviews and on social media are actually more painful than any TikTok North could create… As the primary provider and caregiver for our children, I am doing everything I can to protect our daughter while I allow you to express your creativity in the medium you want with adult supervision, because it brings you a lot of happiness,” the statement said.
“Divorce is hard enough for our kids and Kanye’s obsession with trying to control and manipulate our situation in such negative and public ways is only causing more pain for everyone,” she added.
“From the beginning, I have wanted nothing more than a healthy and supportive co-parenting relationship, because it is what is best for our children, and it saddens me that Kanye continues to make it impossible every step of the way,” he also noted in the text.
North West has a joint TikTok account with her mother, and last year Kardashian publicly berated her daughter for livestreaming without her permission. “There are rules in this house,” she said.
“I wish to handle all matters related to our children in private and I hope that he can finally respond to the third lawyer he had in the last year to resolve any issues amicably,” Kardashian said in the Kanye statement. (I)
