Quarantine Policy 2022. Is the vaccinated in quarantine? Will the quarantine be shortened?

The COVID-19 pandemic continues, and the rules are as well, with some changes worth knowing about. What is quarantine for? It is about isolating a healthy person due to the risk of infection. Who and in what cases is quarantined in 2022 and how to get out of it and what are the risks of non-compliance?

Who is quarantined in 2022? Is the vaccinated subject to quarantine?

The obligation to undergo quarantine applies to people who have crossed the Polish border, which is the external border, and people who cross the Polish border from the Schengen area. The quarantine obligation now also applies to people who have had contact with people infected with the coronavirus or live with an infected person who is subject to. Quarantine will also apply to people referred for a COVID-19-related test by a primary or night care physician and is valid until the result is obtained. Are vaccinated people quarantined? In the case of people vaccinated against COVID-19, the quarantine obligation does not apply, but if you are co-home with a person with a positive test result, regardless of the vaccination certificate they have, they must test for coronavirus.

Quarantine 2022: basic rules

Quarantine obligations for those who do not develop COVID-19 symptoms last from 10 to 14 days. Testing was abandoned on people without symptoms in quarantine. If the person has not been in direct contact with someone infected with the coronavirus, they will not be placed in quarantine. The regulations also specify the issue of quarantine in a situation where people living with the person in quarantine are not subject to it, but when the person has tested positive for SARS-CoV-2, all people living with them are obliged to undergo quarantine. Medical professionals and people vaccinated against COVID-19 are also excluded from the quarantine obligation.

Quarantine regulations:

• no leaving the house,
• activities such as walking the dog, visiting a doctor or shopping are prohibited,
• in the face of disturbing symptoms of the disease, contact the clinic and arrange teleportation with the general practitioner.

Can we expect changes to the quarantine regulations?

Government spokesman Piotr Müller, in an interview with Radio Plus, asked if we can expect changes to the quarantine obligation, replied that there was a discussion on the quarantine rules, but at the moment no decision was made. He will also add that the issue of changes relates to the duration of the quarantine.
