The baking powder added to the laundry acts as a bleach for clothes. So instead of spending money on specialized products, it is worth reaching for washing powder first. It will effectively remove even the most difficult to remove dirt, such as grease, ink, blood, wine or tea stains. It also copes well with gray clothes, as well as clothes dyed in the wash.
It is enough to pour two packages of baking powder into the washing powder chamber, and then set the laundry. However, if the stains do not wash off completely, prepare a paste with water and baking powder, then apply it to the stain and wash it again in the washing machine.
Such a procedure will help not only remove stains, but also restore the whiteness of our old clothes, allowing us to save on specialized bleaches.
