HBO Max in Poland already in February? New reports sound promising

In October 2021, during a special event organized by WarnerMedia, we learned that the initial phase of introducing HBO Max to Europe involves launching the service in 27 markets. First, the platform made its debut in Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Spain and Andorra. The plans for 2022 include the launch of HBO Max in the countries of Central and Eastern Europe, Portugal and seven more countries – the list includes: the Netherlands, Turkey, Greece, Iceland, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. If the information obtained by the Slovak portal Živé is confirmed, in Poland we will be able to try out the possibilities of HBO Max in just a few weeks.

HBO Max in Central and Eastern Europe in a few weeks? Good news from the Slovaks

“According to our findings among telecommunications operators, HBO Max is to be launched in Slovakia on February 22, 2022. It is very likely that on this day the platform will also be launched in other countries in our region. All processes are currently scheduled for this date and no delays are expected.” -. HBO Max is successively replacing HBO streaming services that have been operating so far around the world.

In the fall, official announcements were made that HBO Max will be available at an attractive price with a new annual subscription program. It is to allow you to use the platform for 12 months at a price of EUR 8, which means savings of over 30%. (in Spain and Finland this lowered the monthly cost to around 5.99 euros). At the moment, it is not known what prices to expect in Poland (currently a month of HBO GO subscription costs PLN 24.99).
