Nergal: “It’s probably the most controversial piece I’ve ever published.” See the music video for “Blues And Cocaine”

Nergal, or Adam Darski, says about this piece:

‘Blues and Cocaine’ is probably the most controversial track I have ever published. I love this song and the accompanying video – I think it is definitely one of the strongest points of the album. The song would almost never see the light of day. The details are frankly too “political” for my taste … and I’m just a jester at the Public Opinion Tribunal. I hope you like the fascinating, guest performance of Mr. Michał Graves behind the microphone.

will add:

One song – “Blues and Cocaine” – even remembers the times of “Songs of the Love and Death” (the first album Me And That Man recorded with John Porter – editor’s note). She wintered five seasons in my drawer, after which time I pulled her out and decided to give her a chance.

The music video looks like this:

The new, third album in Me And That Man’s discography, from which “Blues nd Cocaine” comes, is a kind of continuation of the “New Man, New Songs, Same Shit, vol.1” released in 2020. The album reached the 7th position on the official OLiS sales list, and the LP version took second place.

Me And That Man was founded in 2016. The duo’s first album, which consists of singer Behemoth and John Porter, was released in 2017 and was titled “Songs of Love and Death”.

The album, like the previous one, was recorded in the following line-up: Adam Nergal Darski – guitar / voc, Sasha Boole – guitar / voc, Matteo Bassoli – bass / voc and Łukasz Kumański – perkusja / voc. The album will once again feature numerous, interesting and surprising guests – including: Gary Holt (Slayer, Exodus), Alissa White-Gluz (Arch Enemy), Mary Goore, Randy Blythe (Lamb Of God), Myrkur, Devin Townsend, David Vincent, Doug Blair (WASP), Hank von Hell (Turbonegro) and Olve “Abbath” Eikemo (Immortal, Abbath).
