The main roles in the series entitled “Krakowskie potwory” will be played by: Barbara Liberek, Andrzej Chyra (“Dług”) “Komornik”), Stanisław Linowski (“Belfer”, “Under the surface”) and Małgorzata Bela (“Ono”, “Erotica” 2022 “); in the photo in bright makeup). “Krakowskie monwory” – a new Polish series on the Netflix platform
Previously, “Krakowskie monsters” had a different title (“Axis Mundi”). This is an eight-episode series directed by Kasia Adamik and Olga Chajdas – both worked, among others on Netflix’s first Polish series “1983” or on HBO’s “Wataha”. The authors of the script are Magdalena Lankosz, Anna Sieńska and Gaja Grzegorzewska.
The main character is a first-year medical student Alex, who goes to the elite group of students of a pathologist at the Krakow university. It turns out that the group is doing something completely different under the guise of scientific research. Alex becomes embroiled in a plot that confronts her with the world of Slavic beliefs, ancient monsters and bloodthirsty deities.
Barbara Liberek, who plays Alex, is a 28-year-old actress who has a small role in Maciej Kawulski’s “How I Became a Gangster” or a policewoman in two episodes of the Canal + series “Klangor”. Last year she finished acting at the Theater Academy in Warsaw. He has received an award for his role in the play “Settings with Saints, or Conversations of Images” at the 38th Festival of Theater Schools in Łódź.
