Wrapping your feet with aluminum foil can seem a bit ridiculous. As it turns out, this unconventional method may have benefits that are really worth trying.
Aluminum foil – unusual applications
Aluminum foil, or the so-called The “silver” has been designed in such a way as to retain or transfer heat, depending on the side we use. And that’s what makes it so useful.
Many people in autumn and winter complain of cold, even ossified feet. Usually we use thicker socks, but as it turns out, in this situation, aluminum foil will work much faster and more effectively.
To quickly warm your feet, rub cream on them and then wrap them in foil with the shiny side inward. Thanks to its properties, it will protect the body against the cold outside, while keeping the heat inside. Such a treatment will allow us not only to instantly warm up frozen feet, but also bring relaxation to tired muscles and aching joints.
Aluminum foil is also perfect for joint pain, e.g. in the knee. The sore spot should be lubricated with an analgesic ointment and wrapped in foil, thanks to which the product will be absorbed faster.
It is worth using this method when our shoes get wet or simply as a form of relaxation after a tired day. However, you have to remember not to keep your feet wrapped in foil for too long – an hour is enough. Feet wrapped several times with foil are cut off from the supply of fresh air, which may favor the development of mycosis.
