Their relationship deteriorates and culminates in the murder of their son. The work is narrated by means of vignettes that at first glance seem to have no connection between them.

Originally the novel was published by fragments in the magazines of the time Elan (Quito) and Hontanar (Store).

90 years | Publication of José de la Cuadra
