The politician for a long time expected it to happen, so he had had with him for over a day. This one did not disappoint.

Punctually at 8:45 ABW officers detained Dariusz Matecki and intended to transport him with an unmarked van to the prosecutor’s office, where he is to hear the allegations. Matecki knew that he would finally get to such a stop – for a reason he spent the previous day at the headquarters of TV Republika in the center of Warsaw, with a packed backpack and a photo of Donald Trump (seriously). Why was Dariusz Matecki detained?
Dariusz Matecki was detained in connection with the investigation into irregularities in the Justice Fund. The prosecutor’s office is to make six charges for which he faces a total of 10 years in prison. The MP renounced his immunity, but the National Prosecutor’s Office maintains that the detention was “necessary primarily due to the justified fear of unlawful obstructing the proceedings and the need to immediately use the preventive measure.”
