Two Basque galleries participate in the Arcomadrid fair

Two Basque galleries will participate since Wednesday, March 5, in the 44th edition of the Arcomadrid Contemporary Art Fair. Bilbao Carreras Mugica will be in the general program of the Fair, while the Donostiarra Villa Magdalena, founded in 2020 by Commissioner and writer Cy Schnabel, will do so for the first time, in the Opening section, dedicated to new galleries.
Also, about twenty Basque and Basque artists exhibit in Arcomadrid: Sahatsa Jauregi (The Ryder Gallery); June Crespo (Ehrhardt Gallery Flórez); Nora Aurrekoetxea (Juan Silió Gallery); Ines Medina (José de la Hand Gallery); Mari Puri Herrero (Alvaro Alcázar Gallery); Juan Luis Moraza, Manu Muniagiandikoetxea and Bene Bergado (Minimum Space Gallery); Esther Ferrer and Itziar Barrio (Angels Gallery); Asier Mendizabal (Projects D); Esther Ferrer (Gallery 1 Mira); Ibon Aranberri and Francisco Ruiz Infante (Elba Benitez Gallery); Josu Bilbao and Itziar Okariz (Et Hall Gallery); Elena Aizkoa (Rosa Santos Gallery); Karlos Martinez Boardoy (Comfortable format gallery); and Nahia del Castillo (Stand Prado Museum).
In addition, the Basque Government has reported that, in addition to Arco, the work of different Basque and Basque artists can be enjoyed in different exhibition centers in Madrid.
