VOD of its program offer does not have to be ashamed. He really has a vast library full of quality films, series and interesting foreign productions. The streaming service was organized very wisely so that it complements with what is happening on the air – thanks to this we have access to live channels and episodes of programs and series, which we could, for example, miss the television broadcast. The free offer (after all, however, public television) is so diverse that everyone will find something for themselves and you do not have a feeling that you get scraps. We wrote about what you can find there in other texts. About what I love on TVP VOD and why, I confess in the following text.
What is the most pissed on TVP VOD?
- Ads
In theory, everything is great – for free I can get over the ads during a movie or series that is not on other streaming platforms. The problem is not even that sometimes too many advertising breaks fall on one episode. It is gruesome that sometimes the same advertisement is looped several times from the machine. Throughout the episode. I can watch advertising spots, but let them at least differ. Some consolation is that you can see the counter in the corner, thanks to which we know that he will fly seven advertisements and which of them is displayed. But seven times the same? It’s already torture. That it would not be that I am only whining, users of the application in the comments on Google Play most often complain about this aspect: “28 ads for 40 minutes of the series. Non -serious”, “if someone is looking for an application for watching ads, I recommend it as much as possible”. Here, of course, I would like to remind you that after purchasing the subscription, this problem falls off.
- Technical problems
Sometimes the page and application work smoothly, so you can calmly watch the selected program or film. And sometimes everything stutters and, for example, you have to try something three times so that it finally moves. And this means that we have seen the advertising band three times. Sometimes it is also so that the screen simply dies and nothing happens. I only suspect that some programs may be more popular, or there is such a thing as peak hours on the site and then the load is that the servers cannot stand. Then it’s better to wait and try later.
Nevertheless, such a myk will not work if a person wants to see a live broadcast from some event, e.g. semi -finals. And here the site does not work and you have to look elsewhere. I can handle it, I don’t mind watching something that is conducted, for example, in English. But in the case of such Eurovision, a large part of magic has always been to listen to comments I will not remember that, for example, my grandmother needs a teacher.
- Language options
Sometimes it is so that only a teacher is available, and sometimes there are only subtitles. Those after the last update became so small that it is difficult to read on the TV. One of the application users also drew attention in the comments in the “Assessment and opinions” section that the problem of jamming sound when playing by Chromecast is often repeated, and if a given production is “loaded” with audio description, it cannot be turned off.
- Problems with episode playback
In the same section, I made sure that there is a problem with playing the started episodes: most often the option of returning to the place where you ended, often fails to go back to the beginning and many people indicate that they have to skip the episodes at that time. Another thing is that viewers also complain about the repetitive difficulty finding the episode that you watched, and the “Continue watching” folder does not always save the latest data and returns to the episodes previously viewed.
Sometimes the phrase search also fails and selected titles need to be dug out of individual categories. Someone happened that instead of “Baltazar, sponge” flew “the colors of happiness”. When watching the series, you also have to reckon with the fact that you have to go back to the list of all episodes to choose the next one. It is also bizarre that you can pay for the lending rooms only in a web browser.
Nevertheless, there is a small light in the tunnel – for the latest comments from 2025 describing various errors, the VOD support team actively replies and indicates that you can contact you to aid@tvp.pl. When reporting, they ask for screenshots with errors and technical data of the device on which problems arose to carefully analyze the case. Maybe we will see a moment when everything will work well from the technological side.
