The Ohrid Lake lies on the Balkan Peninsula between Albania and North Macedonia. It has an area of 358 square kilometers, i.e. three times larger than the largest lake in Poland, i.e. Śniardwy. The Ohrid Lake is a guarantee of landscapes like from a postcard. From the side, it is surrounded by arable fields and monuments. The Drilon National Park is referred to as “little Venice” because it is famous for its water channels and beautiful vegetation. It is worth visiting the Tushemisht fishing village, located on the promine of the village of Lin, where the remains of the basilica from the 6th century are to see, as well as visit the ruins of the castle in Zagradec, from where there is a view of the lake.
