The Xabier Lete scholarship to the literary creation in Basque euros to writers or writers to be able to devote themselves for a year entirely to their literary project in Euskara.
As reported by the Basque Government, the scholarships are addressed to authors in the process of consolidation (they must have a published book). Last year the Eider RodrÃguez writer’s project was selected by the expert committee.
Endowed with 70,000 euros per year, it is aimed at natural persons, of legal age, and in the period of working life, and has a period of development of twelve months, counting from the acceptance of the same. The project object of the scholarship must be completed at the end of this period.
