I spent a lot of time in New Zealand, preparing for scenes with a fight. I trained all these shapely movements. And the more I did it, the more we moved away from what was true at Arwen. She is strong, but it had to be shown somehow in the movie. Ultimately, it was decided to find a completely different style and character for her character. The princess’s elf became again what Jrr Tolkien created her, which turned out to be a very good change for the actress.

However, these scenes did not even go to the director’s version of the film and only a few photos from the plan or short working recordings remained.
