The Catalan poet and playwright Juana Dolores will present this weekend in Bilbao her theatrical piece ‘ *hit me if i’m pretty *or the modern princess’. It will offer with two functions, Saturday and Sunday, in the foundry.

As the space in a statement, this work, the second of the artist, stars in herself and is, in her words, “a communist feminist manifesto” that basically speaks of “the” Structural misogyny “. The show includes violence, explicit sexual content and bad words, so it is not recommended for children under 18.

In the performance, “she becomes a powerful modern princess who denounces the infantilization of women, violence and machismo,” as explained by the Bilbao space.

Dolores has published two poetry books, Bijuteria (2020), translated into Basque by Maider Ramirez Martin as Girgileria (Katakrak), and Rèquiem Català. I If an born parade per a Catifa Vermella (2023).
