At the end of the 70s, Bajm gained great publicity and became one of the most important rock bands in Poland. Beata Kozidrak from the beginning was a very charismatic, eye -catching vocalist. The band was not afraid to risk and stand out on the stage. This can be evidenced, among others, by the group’s performance at the 20th National Polish Song Festival in Opole.
Beata Kozidrak wrote a hit about “the oldest profession of the world”. The women thanked her
In 1983, Beata Kozidrak entered the stage and announced the premiere of the latest song. “Now we have a surprise for you. It will be new” – she turned to the fans and she performed with the band “Ok, ok, I don’t know anything, I don’t know anything”. The author of both music and lyrics for the song was the Bajm frontman herself. The song is a monologue of a woman who directs her words to her mother and looks for understanding and forgiveness.
“Calm down my mother, I came back to you. I’m without sin again, like in heaven” – sings Kozidrak. The great rock hit expressed rebellion and the need to accept independent elections, which are not always easy. “Nothing is as important as this peace, because nothing happened. I have a lot of money, I had to do it because I would live in poverty” – explains the girl from my difficult decisions. Years later, Beata Kozidrak told what the song is about.
The neighbors sympathized with Mother Kozidrak. They thought he was singing about himself
In the autobiography of “hot blood” by the vocalist of the Bajm group, she admitted that The heroine of the song “Ok, ok, I don’t know anything, I don’t know anything” is a sex scorker. The song immediately became popular among representatives of great controversy. Women even thanked the artist for the song.
“When we concerted on the coast and stopped in seaside hotels, many of them approached me, sat down to the table – They thanked, put champagne, talked about their lives. We cried” – recalls Beata Kozidrak in the book cited by SE.pl.
The Ministry of Culture reacted quite the opposite, which led to the removal of the song from Radio. Beata Kozidrak by the text known all over Poland also had unpleasantness in private life. As the star recalls in the autobiography, The neighbors thought that the artist was talking about her own experiences and … sympathized with her mother.
