If you belong to the second group, we have a real pear for you. There peace, nature and almost empty beach. Sounds on the sake of what? Check where there are no people at the sea.

On the Baltic Sea you can still find small, charming towns that delight with climate and peace. Perfect for the weekend, but also a longer vacation. More and more tourists are running away from crowded promenades, choosing intimate villages. One of them is Mikoszewo – a place that tempts with nature, a wide beach and a unique atmosphere. What makes this small village stand out from other coastal towns?

Is it worth going to Mikoszewo? The village lies a stone’s throw from the sea

The village is located on the Vistula Spit, about 30 km from Gdańsk. A picturesque, one and a half -kilometer path through the forest leads to the beach, which protects the dunes and creates ideal for rest. This is one of those places where even at the top of the season you can find your space, and the wide, sandy beach can be almost empty. Here, nobody is racing against a piece of sand, and sunbathing takes place without densely set screens.

What’s more, in this part Wisła ends its run, escaping to the sea. Thanks to this, the area is full of unique ecosystems, bird reserves and places ideal for observing wild nature. Mikoszewo is also distinguished by the lack of typical coastal hustle and bustle. You will not find loud lunaparks or groups of chased tourists walking late after the promenade. There is silence, fresh air and space. The dream place is simply if you want to break away from everyday life and charge the batteries with new, life challenges.

If you dream of a place where nature is at your fingertips, and the hustle and bustle is far behind, Mikoszewo will delight you. In this small Baltic village you can feel the real breath of nature. Just go to the Mewia Łach reserve to observe seals closely in their natural environment. The sight of sea mammals lounging on sand is something that remains in memory for a long time. Do you fancy a bit of adrenaline? Try a sea safari – a fast motor boat cruise, which allows not only to see seals closely, but also feel the wind in your hair and feel the Baltic from a completely different perspective.

The Żuławy Access Railway is a proposal for those who like traveling at a slightly slower pace. In the summer, a narrow -gauge clothes traverses the picturesque Żuławy landscapes, allowing to feel the atmosphere of old railway expeditions. This is not only a means of transport, but also a sentimental journey in time. Added to this is the ferry crossing of Świbo-Mikoszewo, thanks to which you will quickly get to the other side of the Vistula and move to discover the next coastal towns. You can look into Jantar, where the tradition of amber is a tradition, visit Stegna with her wide beach and summer concerts or feel the holiday atmosphere of Krynica Morska, full of attractions and beautiful views of the Vistula Lagoon.
