Burned in containers, they have a well -developed root system, and quite compact, thanks to which it is much more resistant to adverse conditions. The situation is slightly different in the case of Tui from the ground. In their case, planting should take place in spring, preferably from mid -March to May, or in autumn, at the end of October and to mid -November. Why? First of all, they have a much less developed root system, which makes them less resistant to adverse conditions, and at the same time do not take enough water, so it’s better not to risk it and do not start in winter or summer. Then it can be problematic. In addition, remember to decide on this in spring or autumn, keep choosing a relatively warm, somewhat cloudy, but rainless day. Stop the holes (twice larger than the root of the seedling), cover them with a slightly acidic, fertile and moist surface, water and finally protect the bark.

ADVICE! If you plant a thick hedge, the distance between them should be 50 cm. Thanks to this you will create a lush barrier. In the event of a desire to have a slightly less broken “fence”, 100 cm is enough. Also, don’t forget to keep at least a meter of distance from the fence.
