Danuta Holecka on air: “I will give my life without hesitation”. Her voice trembled

Danuta Holecka shared an intimate challenge with viewers during one of the last editions of “Today”. However, she did not reveal everything.

Danuta Holecka has already settled into TV Republika as the host of the program “Dzisiaj”. The former head of “Wiadomości” has been working in the station supervised by Tomasz Sakiewicz since December 29 last year. Although interest in “Dzisiaj” is lower than on the day of Holecka’s debut on Republika (it was supposedly watched by over 556 thousand viewers on television, and another 20 thousand on YouTube), Holecka has her loyal viewers. She addressed them in one of the last editions, talking about her dream.

Danuta Holecka on dreams: It’s worth taking them to heaven

The Perseids night is one of the most beautiful moments that can be observed in the sky. Falling stars have power in them. When we see such a star, we have to dream, because there is a big chance that it will come true – she said, introducing the material about this phenomenon. After a while, in a breaking voice, she added:

Do you have dreams? They are worth taking to heaven. I also have one for which I would give my life without hesitation.

Danuta Holecka was associated with Telewizja Polska from 1993 to 2023. She found herself on TV Republika after the last changes in the TVP authorities. She briefly disappeared from Republika after the death of her son (the 31-year-old died on July 9, he was one of the twins born to Holecka from her relationship with Krzysztof Dunin-Holecki), at that time Adrian Borecki replaced her as the host of “Dzisiaj”.

When to see the Perseids? Last chance this year

This year’s Perseid activity began on July 17 and will last until August 24, but the best conditions for observing falling stars (and the largest number of them) are already behind us – this year’s “night of falling stars” fell on August 12. And what exactly are the Perseids? Meteors, commonly known as falling stars, are light phenomena that accompany the passage of a meteoroid through the Earth’s atmosphere.

This year, in addition to the Perseids, the aurora borealis was also visible in the sky in Poland at this time, and the Moon phase was favorable for observing the maximum of the Perseid shower.
