The famous British urban artist known as Banksy confirmed this Monday the authorship of a new work of art on the wall of a building in Richmondsouthwest of London.
Through a post on his social networks without a title, the artist uploaded a photograph of his creation, the way in which he “signs” his works, in which he painted a goat on top of a ledge from which several rocks fall while a real surveillance camera points at it.
The recording device was pointed at the stencil figure was removed and moved to its original positionreported media outlets such as the BBC. Among the interpretations of the curious who came to admire Banksy’s creation, some pointed out that it was a representation of the human race “on the verge of extinction”, while others said that the British artist intended to speak about the lack of privacy in public spaces.
The artist, whose identity is unknown, painted for the last time in the north of the British capital last march and on that occasion he sprayed green paint on a wall behind a pruned tree, creating the optical illusion of foliage, with a stencil of a person holding a spray can next to it.
