The film ‘Marco’ by Aitor Arregi and Jon Garaño will premiere at the Venice Film Festival

Frame, the new film by directors Aitor Arregi and Jon Garaño, has been selected to participate in the 81st Venice Film Festival. It will compete in ‘Horizontes’, the second most important section of this festival.
Arregi and Garaño, who were putting the finishing touches to the film these days, have received the news with great joy. “It is one of the most legendary and oldest festivals in the world,” they recalled to EITB, “and it is an honour to have been selected.”
Frame It is an adaptation of the book by Javier Cercas The impostor and it is based on real eventsCatalan actor Eduard Fernández plays Enric Marco Batlle, leader of the CNT union, who for years made everyone believe that he had been a prisoner in a Nazi concentration camp. This allowed him, among other things, to become president of the Spanish Association of Holocaust Victims.
Nathalie Poza, Chani Martín, Sonia Almarcha, Fermí Reixach, Júlia Molins, Vicente Vergara and Jordi Rico complete the cast of the film.
The film will hit theaters on November 8.
