Let’s be honest, the creators of “The Doll” set themselves a daunting task. The creators of “” recently convinced many viewers that it was possible to make a gripping, eagerly watched new adaptation of a novel that had previously received a cult film adaptation. The version with Leszek Lichota in the title role received good reviews and was eagerly watched by Netflix users, not only in Poland.
It is not yet known when we can expect the premiere, we do not know the details of the new “The Doll”. Discussions about the potential Wokulski and Izabela will certainly appear soon. In the meantime, the director assures that he is excited about working on this project. – Both as a viewer and creator, I have a special fondness for epic, costume stories – this passion brought me to pre-war Zakopane for “Dangerous Gentlemen”, and now I could not be happier than preparing a new film adaptation of “The Doll”! – says Kawalski.
