If your mascara has dried out, there could be a few different reasons. It could be the quality of the formula you’re using, or how you’ve stored it, or maybe you’ve accidentally pumped too much air into the tube. Luckily, you can use a few simple DIY hacks to bring your mascara back from the dead.

A recommendation to save the cosmetic is to leave the completely closed mascara tube in a cup of hot water.to soften the product. It will take about three to five minutes to notice a difference. Be sure to pat the product dry with a paper towel, making sure no water gets inside. You can also wrap the product in a warm towel to achieve the same results.
Try adding some oil to your eyelashes to save your mascara
You can apply a light layer of coconut oil or occlusive oil (such as squalane or castor oil) to the lash linethen run a brush over it to see if that softens the product. While some may suggest pouring the oil directly into the formula, beauticians strongly advise against this.
Dilute it with saline solution
Beauticians suggest diluting your mascara with a drop or two of a safe saline solution. Since these drops are more viscous than water, you don’t have to worry about the solution becoming too watery. Once you’ve placed the drop in the mascara, roll it around in your hands for a moment to warm up the formula.
