There are roads in the forests that you can use by car. However, a sign permitting entry must be displayed at the entrance. This is stated in Article 29 of the Forest Act. It is usually accompanied by road signs, signs indicating access to forest parking lots, signposts to towns, directions to tourist attractions or distances from recreation centers.
Is it possible to drive a car into the forest? It is worth remembering
The entry sign usually states “Road open to vehicular traffic”. There is usually a sign next to it informing about the speed limit. Please note that there does not have to be a barrier or a no-entry sign before entering the forest. It is valid all year round and results from the provisions of the Forest Act.
According to the Forest Act, there is no obligation to mark roads with prohibition signs where entry is prohibited. Therefore, the principle that an unmarked road is not permitted for traffic should be applied

A fine for entering the forest. Its amount depends on one thing
If there is no sign at the entrance to the forest that permits driving in the forest and you drive into the complex, you may get a ticket. The amount of the ticket depends on what damage you caused while driving in the forest, e.g. damaging trees, destroying mushrooms, parking in a prohibited place. A forest guard may impose a fine from 20 to 500 PLN. The fine may be higher if the damage is significant, i.e. a tree, a part of the forest or a building were damaged.
