The changes in Polish Television affected not only the newsrooms, but also the entertainment programs. The rotation of hosts and jurors included, among others, the game show “Jaka to melodia”, the talent show “Twoja Twarz Brzmi znajomo” and the music show “The Voice of Poland”. In the case of the latter program, there was even talk of a complete change of coaches and hosts, but these assumptions ultimately turned out to be false.
New jurors in “The Voice of Poland”
As unofficially reported by the Pudelek portal, Lanberry, Tomson and Baron will once again sit on the judging chairs in the new edition of “The Voice of Poland”. They are also to be joined by Kuba Badach and Michał Szpak, who was a coach in the program for four seasons. “The new edition of ‘The Voice of Poland’ will be different from the previous ones. The criteria for selecting the stars to evaluate the participants were based on their professionalism, knowledge and substantive approach, not on popularity in the media. The participants should be the most important, no one should distract attention from them” – a person from the production was supposed to tell the portal.
If these reports are confirmed, for Michał Szpak it will mean a return to the program after three years of absence. Let us recall that the singer parted ways with the station in rather unpleasant circumstances. In 2022, he informed the media that on the set of “The Voice of Poland” there were situations in which his wardrobe was searched. “Towards the end of my presence on the program, I was cut from the schedule because in the recording I had a rainbow pin on my jacket. Later, I experienced something like mobbing when people from TVP approached me before recording and checked whether I had any kind of LGBT+ symbolism on my jacket, the sole of my shoe, or anywhere else,” Michał Szpak reported at the time.
