Last weekend, the third edition of the Clout Festival took place at the Służewiec Horse Racing Track. The stage was graced by performances by Playboi Carti, Gucci Man, Offset, Yung Lean and Rich Amiri. However, the event was not only about music and fun, but also about the problems that accompanied it. Just yesterday, we reported on complaints about noise that disturbed the peace of local residents until late at night on Sunday. Commentators blamed the organizers for shaking windows and loud music that made it impossible to fall asleep even a few kilometers from the venue.
Clout Festival attendees complain about aggressive security guards
However, this is not the end of the problems that fell on the shoulders of the Clout Festival organizers. The day before, during Saturday’s concerts, participants of the event reported reprehensible behavior of security guards working at the event. According to witnesses, they were supposed to behave aggressively towards festival goers. Many recordings from Saturday’s event have already appeared on the web, showing what happened near the stage. One of the videos posted on the X portal shows a group of security guards trying to overpower a man by holding him by the neck.
The same recording, but captured from a different perspective, also appeared on Tik Tok.
Another video shows participants jumping over the barriers separating them from the area closer to the stage.
A recording has also appeared on the internet showing one of the security guards holding the hands of a man kneeling on the ground.
The organizer posted a statement
After Saturday’s event, the organizer issued a statement in which he commented on the security measures taken towards festival participants.
“The gates under the stage were set up in accordance with the guidelines of the relevant services in order to ensure the safety of all participants of the event. The same arrangement is practiced at other festivals. (…) We have noted several inappropriate behaviors of some security staff, we have already taken appropriate steps to punish these people – they will be held accountable” – we read on Instagram.
