How to properly sort waste? It’s easier than you might think
Segregation has been mandatory for several years. Despite this, many people still do not know how to do it correctly, which means that waste ends up in the wrong containers, which makes it difficult to process and reuse resources later. What containers do we encounter most often and what should be thrown into them?

Many people throw paper towels into blue bins. This is not a mistake except in one specific case, namely when they are clean. Of course, it should be noted that such action does not make much sense, because it is better to use them up before that. Nevertheless, in such a situation they should end up in paper waste. However, if they are dirty, they should be placed in black containersi.e. mixed waste. It is also worth noting that throwing them into the sewage system can lead to clogging, so it is better to avoid it.

Can tissues be thrown into the paper? Only in one situation
If you’re still wondering which container to throw away your tissues, it’s the same here. Clean – for paper (blue), dirty – for mixed (black). In the case of wet wipes, their place is only and exclusively in mixed waste. Here, too, it is not recommended to throw them down the toilet, because they can clog it.
