Online activity, including social media, is something completely natural for us today. It happens that we don’t change our platform passwords for years because they are simply deeply embedded in our memory and sometimes we simply can’t imagine changing them. - Change your password as soon as possible. Do it right away, choosing an option that is difficult to crack. Also, don’t forget to enable two-factor authentication if available.
- Don’t use the same password for multiple accounts online. This increases the likelihood of being hacked into multiple platforms.
- If possible, regularly check your account for any unauthorized logins.
- Consider using a password manager to create a strong password.
- Review security information regularly so you know what to do.
