Dracaena is a species of asparagus. It occurs naturally in subtropical forests in Africa, Asia, Australia, and Central and South America. There are about 40 subspecies of this plant. Dracaena will grow best in a bright spot with diffused light, but it should not be in full sun, because it can burn. The ideal temperature for growth is from 18 to 24 degrees Celsius. A good substrate will be fertile, semi-permeable soil with a pH of 5.5 to 6.3. Dracaena loves moisture, so remember to water regularly.
