Practical guide to Bilbao BBK Live
Basque: Bilbao BBK Live practical guide: no need to leave, don’t worry and I’ll always be there to help you
Bilbao is already preparing to host the seventeenth edition of Bilbao BBK Live on July 11, 12 and 13. The musical menu has already been published, and each visitor can now plan their route so as not to miss Massive Attack, Shinova, Los Planetas, Melenas, Parcels, Grace Jones, Underworld, Jungle or Arcade Fire.
Access
The first traffic restrictions for private vehicles will be established at 10:30 on Wednesday, July 10 and will remain in place until approximately 3:00 p.m. Sunday, July 14. Access by private vehicles will be strictly prohibited, and access to Kobetamendi must be made on foot or using the shuttles provided by the festival organisers.
Those who want to climb walking to the site, they can do so by walking the 2.5 kilometres uphill from San Mamés to the gates, which open every day at 7:00 p.m.
Each day of the festival there will be four scheduled departures to go up accompanied by other festival-goers, from 5pm to 8pm, one per hour.
To get on and off the premises you can use the buses shuttle, which will connect from 12:00 on Wednesday, July 10, until 15:00 on Sunday the BEC! (Barakaldo) and the surrounding area of San Mamés (Capuchinos de Basurto street) with Kobetamendi.
For the third consecutive year, the organisation will offer a bus service with reservations to get to the concerts. It will leave from Felipe Serrate street from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. every 10 minutes, and the cost of the trip is 3.5 euros. It will be necessary to reserve it in advance from the festival website.
From 4:00 pm, buses will stop near the old Beyena factory, and the public will have to go up to the festival grounds from there.
Within the premises there will be areas for people with reduced mobility and which will have specialized care personnel.

Afterwards, the opening hours at San Mamés and BEC! will be from Wednesday 10 July to Saturday 13 July, between 10:00 in the morning and 2:00 in the morning.
The bracelet can be recharged online, via the website or physically, in cash or by card, at the recharge points enabled in the Kobetamendi area.
