Michał Sobierajski began his adventure with music when he was still a child. He first learned to play the piano, later also the jazz piano. He took part in many international competitions, winning numerous awards and at the same time developing his vocal skills. The breakthrough for him was supposed to be 2013, because it was then that he took part in the 2nd edition of the program.

During the blind auditions, he performed the song “You Are The Sunshine of My Life”, turning all the chairs. – If you recorded such an album now, it would be double platinum – Patrycja Markowska was delighted with him. In the end, however, he did not choose her as his coach, but under her wing he reached the final, ultimately taking 2nd place. Many were convinced that this was the beginning of his lightning career. On the wave of popularity, in 2015, he debuted on the phonographic market with the album “Przed snem”, which he created in cooperation with Karolina Kozak and Kamil Durski. – Basically, you went to Empik and you could see that this album was there, because I had a separate display case – he recalled. At first, he sold like hot cakes, but radio stations were not interested in playing his songs. When sales began to decline, he was left to his own devices, and the failure discouraged him so much that he decided to step into the background.

At that time, he focused on his studies and graduated from the Jazz and Stage Music program at the Academy of Music in Katowice. He currently runs vocal workshops and is a piano instructor. He is also working on a new repertoire, and he constantly boasts about the results on social media. It was in one of his TikTok videos that he decided to reveal what was the final nail in the coffin of his career.
In his opinion, the person he entrusted with overseeing his career was to blame. “At first, this person supported me and everything was fine, I could count on her,” he said, adding that everything changed after the album was released. “She suddenly stopped answering my phone, as if she had disappeared into thin air. I was left alone with a released album, planned performances, but no further prospects. I didn’t know what to do next,” he said, emphasizing that he no longer feels any regret about it.
He does not hide the fact that the lack of support at that time had a big impact on him and for a long time he was not able to trust anyone. – It is not easy because I was very sad. I felt completely ignored and left to my own devices at that time – he explained. In this way he appealed to young artists to choose the people who are to guide their professional path more carefully, so that they do not have to share his fate. – I had bad people who advised me and bad people who helped me with managerial matters – he said bluntly, adding that now, enriched by these difficult experiences, he intends to return to the industry on his own terms.
