The Internet is flooded every year with “horror receipts”, photos of crowded places and traffic jams on the routes leading to the seaside. Despite this, Poles still like to relax on the Baltic Sea and cannot imagine not visiting it at least once a year. However, there are cases where someone has become discouraged from this form of vacation forever. The reasons are different, but they all come down to one thing: the behavior of tourists.
The Worst Beach Behaviors That Drive Tourists Crazy
Windbreaks are one of the most controversial topics when it comes to seaside recreation. They have as many supporters as opponents. Theoretically, they are supposed to protect us from the wind, but many people use them for a completely different purpose. They fence off a large piece of land and create “colonies”.
Two people, and the screen was spread out, as if the whole family was inside. For something like 15 minutes I was looking for a place to spread a towel
– Paweł tells us. Sometimes there is no passage between one screen and another. To get to the sea or sit on the sand, you have to go further and look for a piece of free space.
Every year it’s the same. I want to lie on the beach in peace, and there are kids running around everywhere. Their parents don’t watch over them, so they throw sand in my face.
– says Mateusz. Parents are busy with themselves and do not pay attention to what the toddler is doing, where and with whom. Other beachgoers suffer because of this. According to our interlocutor, even a beach screen does not help in such situations.
People are behaving like cattle. Every second word is a curse. It’s impossible to listen to these medleys. In addition, there is loud music, also full of insults.
– complains Joanna. She is forced to listen to songs she doesn’t like. In most cases, the beachgoers play disco polo, rap or hip-hop. In addition, so loud that half the beach can hear the lyrics.
And I’m annoyed by beach vendors who walk one after another and shout through a megaphone. They know what they’re selling, they don’t have to shout like that
– confesses Klaudia, who is also bothered by noise, but in a different way. She believes that everyone recognizes a trader and will approach him when they want to buy something. The constant shouting about boiled corn, blueberry buns or iced coffee is, in her opinion, torture for the ears.

What annoys Poles on the beach? It makes you want to cover your ears
Our interviewees pointed out how easy it is for people to judge others based on their appearance. The Baltic Sea is the perfect place for them to badmouth tourists, comment on their figure and clothing. In most cases, it is older men who do this.
Instead of taking care of themselves, they stare at others and comment. A 50-year-old guy with a beer belly, a beer in his hand, and he said to a woman passing by that she shouldn’t show up on the beach with legs like that.
– Weronika recalls. Sometimes it also goes the other way and women become the object of desire of beachgoers. In most cases, married men who take advantage of their wife’s temporary absence and accost younger girls.
Horny guys who drool over women in swimsuits. After two beers they are more brave, so I hear some disgusting comments. And a moment later their wives and children come up to them, who went to the sea for a while
– Julia adds. For many people, one of the worst things is relieving themselves in the sea. But that’s just the tip of the iceberg. The worst things are supposed to be done by parents from . They teach them behaviors that are unacceptable to someone on the outside.
The child complained to his mother that he needed to poop. She said that 5 PLN for the toilet at the entrance was too much. She told her son to do it here and then covered it with sand.
– says Patryk. He also saw a few times that parents buried a dirty diaper or a juice box on the beach. If you’d like, please vote in our poll below.
