started in full swing. On July 3, 2024, its 21st edition started, gathering thousands of music fans at the Gdynia-Kosakowo airport not only from all over Poland, but also from various corners of the world. This is undoubtedly due to the impressive schedule, which includes performances by both local artists and international stars. One of the most anticipated concerts was the one played by Kim Gordon.
She was the star of the first day of Open’er Festival 2024. Kim Gordon has such hits on her account
American bassist and over four decades of activity in the industry, she has managed to gather a legion of loyal fans. She gained popularity in Sonic Youth, of which she is a co-founder, and it was with him that she debuted on the professional stage. Together they also promoted many timeless hits, and the most popular ones include “Schizophrenia”, “Kool Thing”, “Sugar Kane” and “Superstar”. Since 1992, she has also been the leader of the band Free Kitten, playing alternative rock and indie rock.
Grodon has already released a dozen or so studio albums, including a solo album, “No Jome Record,” and is still working on the second one, which will be titled “The Collective.” She has also played hundreds, if not thousands, in different parts of the world, so it’s no wonder she kept a close eye on the backstage of the Polish festival. This one, in particular, surprised her in one respect.
What do the Open’er stars’ toilets look like? Kim Gordon showed a photo. Fans are shocked
On the first day, Gordon stood on the Alter Stage, singing the biggest hits from her repertoire. Right after the concert, she published a rather peculiar photo online. The 71-year-old artist’s attention was drawn to… the festival toilet. Legends have been circulating for years about the appearance of sanitary facilities at outdoor events, because they are usually portable toilets, in which the conditions are truly Spartan.
This time, however, the organizers took care to prepare built-in and tidy toilets, additionally equipped with all necessary hygiene products, including a product that is always in short supply, namely toilet paper. Internet users did not hide their amazement. In the blink of an eye, the photo was swarming with comments.
