The San Sebastian filmmaker Maru Solores arrives today, Friday, in theaters with the documentary “Aztarnak-Huellas”, “a journey full of questions towards the forgotten childhood and the maternal womb”.
In the film, the filmmaker addresses issues that she began to ask after living the experience of being a mother herself. During the past, Solores told Zinemaldia that he saw that the information about childbirth and respectful parenting that he gathered in that process “did not reach society, there was no debate about it, and I told myself that from my position as a filmmaker I could do something.”
Pregnant mothers, couples who prepare for the arrival of their children and accompany them in their first years of life speak of their experiences in this documentary, of the pleasant moments they experienced and also of doubts and feelings of guilt.
The film can be seen from today in Bilbao (Multis), Vitoria (Florida) and Pamplona (Golem Yamaguchi on the 19th), as well as in Barcelona, Girona, Madrid and Valencia.
